"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong,                                                            is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." - Theodore Roosevelt

INTRODUCTION

The Government Document Library provides direct links to PDF files of the 1000+ documents offered through the
Download For Democracy campaign's P2P component (click here for BitTorrent links).  Since late March, over 3 million pages of government documents have been downloaded from outragedmoderates.org via P2P.

The documents are grouped by the topics used in the Four Things America Agrees On section, along with categories for documents related to 9/11 attacks and campaign finance, and a miscellaneous category.  A number of the documents listed have been covered in this site's document analysis posts.

In some cases, the document title given is an abbreviation of the document's full title, or is a new title designed to better identify the document's contents.  This document title matches the filename used for the document on the P2P networks.  Whenever possible, the source link given is to a specific article or description which provides context for the document.

The Download For Democracy campaign was
cited by two amici curiae briefs submitted to the Supreme Court regarding the MGM v. Grokster case.  Click here for more information on the Grokster case, including BitTorrent files containing Grokster and Betamax court documents.  Finally, click here to download a PowerPoint presentation about the Download For Democracy campaign.
